The tickets were sold in Medway at Cumberland Farms at 41 Milford St. and Wegman's at 3850 Mystic Valley Pkwy. in Medford.

The winner's names were not announced, but they are among the nine people across the country who won $1 million in Wednesday's drawing. They correctly guessed the five white balls in the drawing.

Since no one claimed the Powerball prize, Saturday's drawing will reach an estimated $1.23 billion with a cash option of $595.1 million, according to the lottery's website. That's the fourth-largest Powerball jackpot in history.

Forty-five states participate in the Powerball lottery.
